Am 18.4. wurde im Rahmen der Abschlussgala des Sony World Photography Awards 2024 die Französin Juliette Pavy mit dem Titel „Photographer of the Year“ ausgezeichnet. Der brasilianische Fotograf Sebastian Salgado wurde für seine „Outstanding Contribution to Photography“ geehrt.
